Happy New year !!!

First post ever!!! whoop! whoop!

This is a loooonnng overdue post. I’ve had it in mind for a very long time to chronicle my hair journey, blog about it, share  and get other people to share theirs too, but somehow I didn’t get to it (story for another day). Right now I’m so excited as I’m taking this step because its been a long time coming.

First off I’ll like to welcome you as you join me on this journey . Plus even though I didn’t get to blogging last year I still documented (to the best of my ability) some things I was able to do with my hair.

So here are some protective hairstyles I had on last year, Enjoy…

this right here (above) was romance curls and of course with my famous side part (invisible parting)..let me just say “I rocked this hair shaaa!”.. lol

oh my bun!, this is my  fave go to protective hairstyle of all time and yes I had it on almost half of the year!

This (above) was my first time ever trying out crochet braids and yes I fell in love with the Havana twist crotchet braids!

I told you I had a side part on half of the time  *grinning*…. lol. By the way this

weave was ( or is because I still have it on) the real MVP!

love it, love it, love it, (and the amazing part is that it is synthetic hair, who would have thought!). I was skeptical about it at first but… in the end it turned out better than I imagined!

PHEW! I never envisaged that my first post ever would be this long, but hey! there you have it… “the 2016 FINEST”.. LOL… The protective hairstyles I carried in 2016.
